Description:
Methodist School, Dankuni participated in Festa Della Scienza organised by P.B. Academic School, Tollygunge on 22nd and 23rd of November. The science wizards from classes 6 to 9 and 11 participated in events namely Techtopia (Physics), Chemcraze (Chemistry), Bionexus (Biology), Technogypsy (Computer), Earth Embrace (Geography / EVS) and also in debate and quiz. Each notion and model impressed the judges but what caught the main focus was the model of Green Revolution and Introduction of Biotechnology for the Development of Agriculture in India for Earth Embrace.
The innovative concept of a five-step process of separating mixtures to get pure drinking water materialized for Chemcraze was also praised. The console based programme which focused on making a user friendly version of an Admission Management System for colleges developed for Technogypsy caught the attention of the judges. The students of Class – 11 gave a tough fight in quiz. The icing on the cake was the school winning the Golden Etiquette Award for discipline.
