The NCC 1^st year cadets of Methodist School Dankuni, under 1 Bengal Battalion, had the opportunity to participate in a firing practice session on 1^st December, 2025, at the Police Training School (PTS) in Kolkata. This was their first experience handling a rifle and it was truly an exhilarating experience for them.

The cadets were thrilled to learn the basics of firing and safety procedures from expert instructors. Under close supervision, they got to handle the rifles and experience the thrill of firing. The event was a great learning experience, teaching them discipline, focus, and teamwork.

The cadets are grateful to the NCC officers and instructors for this unforgettable experience. It was a Day they will cherish and it has surely sparked a new interest in many of them to pursue excellence in NCC training.
